At age 14, Katie had a dramatic spiritual experience when she was electrocuted with household current. She describes this experience as being “absorbed in the essence of the light of love”. She changed from a shy, fearful child to an outgoing courageous one, and dedicated 12 years of her life to the convent as a nun. During that time she studied philosophy, theology and social work. She practiced prayer and meditation many hours a day in a semi-contemplative religious order. Katie served as a group and caseworker with adolescent girls for 14 years. Later she was in non-profit management and became an executive director of a non-profit agency. She studied for intuitive readings and energy healing with Echo Bodine for five years. In 1996, she started her private practice. She was a founding member of the Wholeness Center and was on the board of directors for seven years. In 2005, she became a Certified Master Hypnotherapist, MHt. She became an Adlerian Certified Life Coach, ACLC in 2006.
Spiritual Mentoring is Katie’s passion. She assists people to spiritually being awakened, empowered and fulfilled through life coaching, hypnosis, intuitive readings/spiritual mentoring and classes.
